NOKSTOCK

Nokstok is an underground private festival, a sleek and minimalistic alternative to Oulu’s Qstock, created for a curated guest list. I developed the full brand identity and copywriting strategy, crafting a visual and verbal language that reflects the event’s exclusivity and character. Set against the contrasting backdrops of contemporary architecture and the historic Nokkala School, the festival’s setting became the foundation for its design direction.

 

Drawing on the clean lines of modern architecture and the textured charm of the old school, I created a system of bold geometric patterns, structural typography, and a refined colour palette. The brand voice blends exclusivity with playful wit, expressed through short, memorable slogans across posters, merch, and digital assets. The result is a cohesive identity that feels curated and architectural, while capturing the energy of a festival made for the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
